Hello fellow citizens, I'm obviously in need of an upgrade as my PC turns 10 years old in a couple of months. I was thinking of the following hardware and would like your input because I don't know much about hardware: Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS ELITE Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-8700K Processor cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Advanced C1 RAM: Corsair DIMM 16GB DDR4-2666 Graphics card: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 WINDFORCE OC Rev. 2.0 Power supply: be quiet! Dark Power Pro P11 750W Harddrive: ADATA XPG Gammix S11 Pro 512 GB SSD Case: Fractal Design Define R5 additional case fan: Fractal Design Dynamic GP-14 I might double the RAM and probably use two of those SSDs. I'm not building this rig just for Star Citizen as my old rig, thanks to OCS, runs walks Star Citizen quite ok-ish. But the increase in performance will be welcome. I'm an Audio Engineer and therefore in need of a quiet PC...my current rig sounds like a tractor. Thanks for your help!
