Hi all. I'm getting my pc back into the gaming sphere by getting a new video card, a little more ram, and now I need an SSD. I only have a 250gb HDD and I am nearly out of room. I want to get an SSD relatively soon and was thinking of Samsung 500GB (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147373). Just a couple of quick questions: My pc case is about 12 yrs old so I'm guessing it won't have any 2.5 bays right? I will probably just get a 3.5 bay adapter, but do I need to order any cables like SATTA? I noticed the samsung ssd has a cloning program, so instead of reinstalling everything is it a good idea to just clone my entire HDD over to the new SSD? Or should I just delete everything and just clone windows 10? Should I put everything on the new SSD? Or just windows, SC, and a couple other games? Any other tidbits someone could give me? I'm not a big tech person and just did a bit of research on SSDs. Any information would be great! :slightly_smiling_face: I made a couple other hardware topics recently in this forum, and I just want to thank you all for always helping me with my noob questions. Cheers! :slightly_smiling_face:
