So... Interesting offer by Oculus right now.. runs for a week only starting 7/10. Question is... why is Oculus dropping the price like this? Oculus 2.0 coming out soon and they getting rid of stock? (very possible) Oculus sales so bad they must cut the price down to compete? (unlikely because it is a huge drop) FB planning on discontinuing VR investment and the existing stock must be cleared out (possible given VR's failure to 'take off') and the biggest question of all.. is the Oculus worth getting in the first place? Specs-wise does it offer anything better the competitors (which seem to be beating its specs in every meaningful area)?
