This week, Newegg interviewed Sean Tracy ( https://youtu.be/qblLBI33Uvw @ time 1:14:30). In the interview, Sean answered a question about how much faster will the octane load over the regular market SSDs now that the megamap is available (it's been available since 2.6 but never mind that). The response was "In terms of the load time...it's half of what it is on the 900P. It's so much faster...and half is probably an underestimate for it anyways." When asked if he feels good about that estimate, he responds that he feels pretty darn good about that statement. He said, as an example, that currently when loading the megamap it takes about 2.5 minutes and now with the 900P it's 1 to 1.5 minutes. So with that statement out there, are you more likely now to purchase the 900P than you were before?
