I was lookinlooking for a better desk. I needed something deeper than the standard so i could use it for more than gaming. I also wanted something that was awsome for gaming. But a sim pit is too specialised unless you have the room. And as gamers we quickly fill a desk with peripherals. So made made a pipe desk. Topped with glass and some led lights it looks great in the gaming space. A couple of posters under the glass make the top look much beter than my wood work would ever allow for. The pipe legs are easy and this you tube clip shows how it is done. https://youtu.be/ei0uogfisP0 My drawers for the hotas mean it is a standard desk i can move the peripherals aside and use it to draw or study. I can side out the draws sit my hotas on it and i have a sim pit. The best combination i could find. I made the draws quite long so i could use them as arm rests when playing SC. It only took a fews hours to make and cost more than a budget desk but for the little extra i got to choose the dimensions and add hotas drawers. See you in the verse.
