Hi, I need some tips on how to modify my stationary PC to make star citizen run half decent with as much bang for buck as possible. I'm happy enough if i'm able to run through the space stations without any lag on medium settings really, i hope that's possible with the details i'm listing here :slightly_smiling_face: on those space/city ports seem to be where i have the most trouble with load on my PC. the lighting seems to kill my fps. My current rig is: Operating system: Windows 10, build 19043.1706 cabinet: CM Storm Stryker Gaming Big Tower Motherboard: ASUS P9X79, Socket-2011 CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.60 GHz CPU cooling: Hydro Series™ H60 (2018) 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler Harddisk: crucial ct240m500ssd1 RAM: Kingston DDR3 HyperX blu 1600MHz 16GB Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 200 /HD 7900 series (On my receipt it says "XFX Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3GB GDDR5" though) Power station: Silver Power SP-S750 750W PSU So what would you recommend i upgrade? what are the bottle necks with this rig? i don't want to spend more than around 715 dollars, preferably under that too if its possible. If I'm guessing right with my limited knowledge it's probably my graphics card and PSU? please help a hick from the sticks out XD
