I haven't found this exactly in the forum threads and apologize if it has been answered already. I'm trying to bind the y-axis of a T16000 joystick to the throttle and still have backward strafe linked to it as well. The control responses are inverted. I have changed the inversion control settings with no luck. I've watched BuzZzKiller's video on how to add script to the controller programming and LIS's vJoy and UCR remapping software to map the forward half of the y-axis to the throttle and the back half to backward strafe. I'm no computer expert and end up making the situation worse. First is there an easier way? Second, I ended up just mapping forward/ backward strafe to my y-axis. It seems to do everything I need without the throttle read out (I can use the slider control when traveling long dist.). Is there something to be gained by having the throttle control on the y-axis vs. only the strafe functions?
