Hi all, After quite a bit of testing I came to the conclusion that the Realtek gigabit lan chip network interface on my motherboard (Asus X570 TUF) was randomly dropping connectivity for a few milliseconds when the speed of the network exceeded the a bit more than the half the speed on my gigabit LAN (seems to be a "feature" of that chip). And despite being on fiber, sometimes i felt that my internet speed was inconsistent. The former was a bother when moving data around the LAN and the later was just irritating. So I plugged in and old HP NC360T PCI Express Dual Port Gigabit that i had and the results are really good. No more dropped connectivity on LAN at high speeds, my average ping dropped from 25 ms to 15 ms and I noticed around 10% less CPU utilization when saturating the network interface. Haven't had the time to try it with SC yet, but i thought I'd share in case it might help someone else. It may contribute to a smoother experience for some people. Good evening to you all.
