Hello, I am currently thinking about upgrading my computer. Unfortunately, I have a budget of 600-650€. Here are my actual spec : Motherboard : MSI 990FXA Gaming CPU : AMD FX 8350 Black edition (8 core 4Ghz) RAM : 4x 8Go DDR3 1866MHz GPU : MSI GTX 1060 6go Star citizen is installed on a SSD. I have identified 2 options that fits in my budget : - Replace the GTX 1060 by a RTX 3060 Ti (Asus GeForce RTX 3060 Ti DUAL O8G V2 (LHR)) Here's the tricky part, the motherboard support only PCIe 2.0, so I guess that the performance gain may be somehow limited by the speed of the PCIe. OR - Replace the bundle motherboard / CPU / RAM by a newer one. (ASUS TUF GAMING B550 + Ryzen 5 5600X + 32 Go DDR4 3200MHz (4x8Go). But in this case, I would loose the benefit of my watercooling for a while. Which solution would make the most sense performancewise in Star Citizen. I've tried to identify which component is bottlenecking in SC and the answer is BOTH.
