I'm trying to decide on HOTAS or HOSAS via Virpil, and my biggest point of indecision is how I'm going to manage the 5th and 6th degrees of movement. I mostly plan on flying medium-size ships, with the occasional small combat flight, so I'd definitely prefer a HOTAS setup (I think). So, are any of the little hat sticks on the TC50CM2 throttle analog, to handle vertical and horizontal strafing? Or will I really need a second stick to accurately handle what I want to do? I'm loathe to use a hat stick on the right stick, as I feel like I'd be putting way too much onto one hand, and never free up my thumb for the other buttons.
