Hi all I'm looking for some new additives for my water loop. I've tried two different generations of EKWBs growth inhibitors - And I'm not that impressed. That being said - This could EASILY be me screwing things up. At no time did I have any gunk flowing around or building up on the water blocks - But the TUBES started looking loke the images below: 1st. time around some white powder started to build up inside the tubes (ONLY in the tubes). 2nd. time around (with NEW tubes, NEW additives and new distilled water) the tubes, and ONLY the tubes, started to turn green/brown. I tried cleaning off the green/brown stuff, but it wouldn't come off - it was like the tubes themselves had changed color. See below I've been using EK's CLEAR concentrate (no dye/ink). The water inside the loop was still clear and I saw no trace of the above inside the reservoir. So.... Did I screw up or should I try a different brand of additives?
