Hi all, so far I was hyped for the Ryzen 9 3800X (or Ryzen 7 3700X) because I was intending to upgrade my current Ryzen 7 1800X to one of those. But now in all articles I read they keep stating that it they fit on X470 Boards.... but I have an X370 board. My Board: MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON (https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/X370-GAMING-PRO-CARBON/Specification) I had understood that the relevant thing was that it has an AM4 socket, which my X370 has. But all articles I read seem to keep telling I would need a X470 board. So I am confused. Will the Ryzen 9 3800X be usable (properly) on my board? Or the Ryzen 7 3700X ? Thx!
