Hello just like the title says I have been thinking of upgrading my rig, currently i use a 5900x and its been great, but i want to move to the new Socket and DDR5 ram for some production workloads i do on the side. I have read that many reviewers dont recommend the 9900x and 9950x due to the core parking when it detects a game that is running. For most gamers this is not a big deal you get the single CCU 9700x and just ago about gaming. I however want the extra cores of the 9950x or 9900x for my video editing and photo editing work loads. So does any one here use the 9900x or 9950x and what is your performance like ? Does star citizen only load one CCU or does it load both, do you really need the PPM Provisioning optimizer installed ? I cant find any thing really concrete on the google. Also if General is not the right place to ask this my bad ...
