I'm trying to get educated about how Ryzen benefits from faster memory. I hear all the talk about the new AGESA .6 update and how it will support up to 4000 MHz speeds. So I did some number crunching and as far as latency goes, 3200 MHz memory with CAS 14 timings still results in better true latency at 8.75. The best I could get from 4000 Mhz memory with CAS 18 timings is true latency of 9. So, would the 3200 Mhz memory still be better for performance or does Ryzen somehow only benefit from MHz and doesn't care about true latency?
