It's great at 2k on both. On Linux it's a little quicker and matches the 4080 pretty much. At 4K it struggles compared to the 4080. I'd say it's not a value at 900 usd. It should be 800. It's about 15-20 percent faster than a 6950xt. Sips power at stock settings. Idles at about 20w. The big thing for me is at 2k it can hold 60fps in the city (with your good cpu). Now, the REALLY good thing... You can easily undervolt it and overclock it 12-15 percent. You will use more power, but you'll match the XTX. I could not get memory or core clocking working on Linux, but it already has a speed advantage over windows with AMD cards. At least with this game. On windows it was crazy easy to overclock. I'd say a permanent 10 percent OC with a slight undervolt, leaving fans on automatic would be nearly invisible. This card is the perfect upgrade for a mini-itx system. It's tiny and well built and HEAVY which you aren't expecting. They packed a lot of heatsink into the 278mm length. It's just so easy to work with compared to the other flagship cards. Also, it doesn't appear to have the junction temperature issue some folks are reporting with the XTX. Wait until January when the price drops to 800. It's definitely an upgrade for someone with a smaller case that doesn't want to upgrade their power supply. I haven't seen my updated hardware hit telemetry yet. When I do I'll share it here. UPDATE: telemetry finally added. I was having issues with the 5800x3d. It was running my memory at the wrong speed. The card still did fine though. Vsync works. I had it set to 60hz. I have an AM5 setup now. The card definitely prefers bigger faster cores, and faster memory under it. I'd say a 10fps increase. I do non-vsync now and 120hz refresh so we'll see.
