Greetings to you all. I believe there are at least two answers to my GPU question but I am definitely open to the wisdom and knowledge I am clueless on. The slide show I begin to experience during the Xenothreat capital ship and smaller craft battle (which I LOVE) has caused me to begin pondering if I should start saving my pennies for a replacement for my GPU. My enjoyment of the game performance everywhere else, even in cities, is very doable (40ish frames in cities, etc.; up to100+ frames in space). Question: Should my concern be mostly on my GPU or is it lack of game optimization (I know I know, soon is never soon enough  ) or both? I anticipate the answers would be along these lines of thought. Are there other answers I should consider? 1. GPU (or entire build needs to be upgraded) 2. Do not get too concerned about XT performance on my system, at least not yet. I built this rig in 2020 so would like to go at least 3-4 more years before building a brand new one. I did upgrade the CPU from 3700x to 5700x afterwards. I believe it can be considered lower end of mid-range builds, please correct my assumption as needed. :slightly_smiling_face: CPU - Ryzen 5700x GPU - 2070 Super Motherboard - Asus AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus Ram - 32 GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3600 (CAS Latency 18) Timing 18-22-22-42 SSD - Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 1TB NVMe M.2 Power Supply - EVGA 750W 80+ Gold I play in 1080p but I am interested in upgrading to 2k monitor sometime this calendar year. The more recent discussions I see on VRAM and considering 12GB, 16GB, or even more, I initially thought GPU research, including higher VRAM would not be an item of worry for a few years. Although, I understand I could be incorrect. Thank you for any input on my GPU question you may offer. I would really appreciate it! Peace to you all.
