Hi, I just wanted to chime in and share some feedback. Yesterday I was playing with friends and my CPU was going all the way up to 93ºC in certain areas, especially when entering Aberdeen's atmosphere. With 360mm liquid cooling, mind you. I rarely ever see it go over 70ºC while playing other games. PC was freezing for a few seconds and starving for resources to the point of other apps crashing (Stream Deck, iCUE, Tobii Experience... they all started to glitch out, freeze or straight up crash). Not the first time I've had something like this happen, and it only ever happened with SC. Looks like there's some serious CPU saturation issues with the game engine. Here are the specs, not exactly in need for an upgrade: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING X SLIM RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 SSD 1: Samsung 990 PRO 4TB Motherboard: MSI B650M Project Zero PSU: Corsair RM1200x Shift AIO liquid cooler: Corsair H150i Elite LCD XT (360mm) Edit: This wasn't meant to be a post asking for hardware advice, though I'll admit the wording was poor and made it seem like I was worried about my personal rig getting high temps. I just wanted to report on unusually bad game performance. Thanks for your replies.
