Hello Citizens, I like to share my control layout with you. This layout will allow a smooth transition between a viable joystick controlled ship (for example Saber) and a gimbal focused ship (like the Freelancer or Constellation) HOTAS <-> HOMAS I own a Thrustmaster Warthog and a Thrustmaster FCS HOTAS and tried various combinations of HOTAS, HOMAS and Dual Stick setups. Changing the controls frequently will always result in a loss of skill. This setup tries to keep the most essential controls on your left hand to minimize the impact of changing your input device on the right hand. Dedicated dogfighters who sticks only to nimble one seaters will probably lean towards a Dual Stick layout. But this layout has a multirole experience with changing ships during the game career progress in mind. I hope to give you some inspiration with this thread.
