Id like to share a recent build ive done. My Pc was dated and needed something new.It runs star citizen well to say the least. Windows 10 i7-6850k CPU 6 core 2x GTX 1080 fe Saber Tooth x99 mother board 16 gig ddr4 Ram hyper x predator Samsung 1 TB Solid state 1200 watt silverstone Power supply 60 hz 4k display Audio technica mic mbox mini mixer the liquid dye is mayhem brand can't remember the color name think it's yellow something . darkside UV Lights. crap speakers but usually have head phones on anyways. And the Desk was only like 100 usd at IKEA The water system is all bitspower and the case is a stripped down BMW design case made for thermaltake awhile back i found it on crigslist for a 1/4 of the original price which was like 1100 brand new. couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it on crigslist.\ When i was doing research on monitors at the time i couldt see paying over 1000 dollars for a small 4k monitor with only 60 hz when samsung offered a 43 inch 4k display with 60hz hdr chroma for 499 it was a no brainer for me. I Had to heavily modify the case drill holes and cutout for wires and such. i copied this design from nvidia's website because i liked it so much. It reminded me of a spaceship computer or something. Now im trying to decide if i should get dual Warthog sticks, or should i get osw diy direct drive steering wheel and just play iracing on the htc till the game is finished. Still up in the air on that one. All in all this rig runs star citizen well above my expectations. The power supply in the pic was an 850 watt i learned not long after that wasnt enough so now i have a larger 1200 watt same brand tho.
