Hey, Hey all. I had my current computer built in like 2011 & it served me very well with a few minor upgrades till now. Every game was playable & still is with the exception of SC. I was playing SC last year with some lag, but it was playable. I'm only guessing here but I believe that with SC's updates/patches I need a totally updated computer. Understandable. A few questions. Should I buy a computer now or actually wait until the game's fully released in a couple of years {reportedly}? I don't really see the sense in buying or having a new computer built if i'm going to need something more advanced for SC after they fully release the game. Meanwhile I have like 10 ships {around $1600 paid for} that I can't touch or play the game for a couple of years. Is there was computer that I could have built now to play, & add some minor upgrades in years to come. I can have a $2000 computer built {I believe anyway} Now, but what's the point if i'm going to need a $3000 computer build in the future? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Can anyone point out a ready made system that I can upgrade as the game advances in the future. I have a price line budget of around $2500 & i'm willing to shell that out, "If" I wont need a totally new PC in a year or two. can anyone recommend computer building sites that understand what I'm looking for & our Dilemma as SC gamers? If you can recommend a pre-built computer Vs. me buying the parts is OK too. I'm totally lost here & don't know where to go with the game at this point. I was even considering selling my ships on eBay & just take the losses before I get in much deeper than I already am. At least I believe that I could sell those ships being they are on eBay as seen. If i'm wrong please advise. Anyway, any information & or help would be greatly appreciated. These are my ships. 2 hornets, one ghost & one super. Thanks man. 2011 build. The updates were Windows 10 home. intel i7-2600 3.4Ghz Installed Ram DDR 16 Gig 64 bit operating system. Gforce GTX 960 600 power supply. Don't know what else to lok for really.
