I have also disabled SLI (because lights and textures where flickering badly) - I'm gonna overclock the CPU and I'm gonna use this thread (and a few other places) in the process :control_knobs: :hotdog: [Extra Bonus EDIT] I now know that I need a new CPU cooler in order to keep the temperatures down. My current one, even though being pretty big, is nowhere up to the task (low build quality). I'm thinking about a "top shelf" water cooler that can be reused in a future rig regardless of which CPU socket a new motherboard has. [Tripple Bonus EDIT] I have now installed a new water cooler and it's working VERY well (max 45°C running Prime95 for more than an hour (no overclock yet)) Maybe I should have mentioned this earlier - My current (and normal) frame rate is about 12 FPS. I HAVE had a frame rate of 30 FPS, ones (40 FPS in the bunk bed at Olisar Station, also just ones), so it looks like that my current hardware CAN support it - even without overclocking. I'm still gonna overclock my CPU though !! [Ultra EDIT] I'll update this first post when done overclocking (new specs and so forth). - That way you don't have to go through the entire thread. As mentioned earlier I'm gonna update this first post with my new specs and BIOS settings so you don't have to go through the entire thread. First. I MAY have been able to squeeze a bit more out of the system - But I don't think the amount of time it would take me to do so could justify the few percentages we're (possibly) talking about. If I where to try, sometime in the FAR FUTURE :wink: I think I should try to lower my BCLK and raise the Multiplier. That would enable me to tweak my RAM and maybe overclock them a bit too. But with my current BCLK (210) I don't think it's very realistic.
