Hi all :blush: So, I'm in the process of bending some pipes for my new PC. Unfortunately it's not going as well as I would have liked it to :cry: I'm not having issues with the amount of heat that I have to apply and making the pipes fit is also working somewhat okay for me. My issue is the silicone insert that I'm using (well I think that's problem). Pipe inner diameter is ø12mm - Silicone insert diameter is ø11mm (but supposedly meant for ø16/12 acrylic pipes).... This is my first hard tube build so I'm not quite sure about this. But wouldn't a larger insert mean cleaner looking bends? Right now I wouldn't be able send a 12mm metal ball all the way through the pipes. I have no flat spots - but the bends just looks a little strange to me. Wouldn't a ~11.7mm (lubricated) silicone insert work a lot better? Thanks :+1: There's no "flat spot" - But I think it's easy to see that the diameter is "changing". Inner and outer radius of the bend doesn't seem to have the same "center" / "base point" / "whatever it's called in english". I think the "small" insert is causing this.
