I'm not really too techy in computers but I am perfectly able to build and discern what is what, but I don't know how they really work. I am planning to get an SSD and extra RAMs, but will continue to use my HDD as my main boot drive and for storage, probably until the next format. So my question is, does a program (like SC for example) utilize the drive's capabilities if it is installed within that drive? My plan is to reinstall SC on my new SDD. If yes to my question, does that mean SC will utilize the SDD's capabilities instead of the HDD (where it's currently installed) performance-wise?
