Update Nov. 13th 2018: For me with the PTU Version 3.3.5 987405 it is usually enough to just start the game in full screen, go to Stanton and then exit the game and start it once more and hit alt-enter a few times (usually 4 times for me) to get the game in windowed mode and back into full screen again [edit] after some further testing it seems that the flickering sometimes only goes away when I: 1. just exit the game completely, Launch the game again and go to Stanton once more or 2. Alt-Tab back to Windows and start some program as an Administrator (so that I get the full-screen User Account Control Window), like MSI Afterburner or 3. go to the Arena Commander Menu first (wait for the pkg preload), before I go back to the PU menu and load Stanton or 4. just exit to menu and load the PU again [/edit] I'm very happy to report that the flickering of some light sources seems to be gone now. I think it was since the addition of temporal AA that this flickering occurred. I just fired up 3.3.0v PTU.975676 last night, and SLI seems to be working perfectly fine for now. I hope I'll be able to do a little more testing tonight. I'm running two GTX 1080's at 16x/16x PCI-E 3.0 with an HB-Bridge (and the 416.16 driver). At 3840x1600 I got 60-70 fps. Strangely though, I had to disable Vsynch or I would drop to 45fps inside of port olisar for some reason. I hope this can also be fixed and is not a fundamental issue with the fix for SLI+TAA. TAA in combination with SLI requires special workarounds or there will be either artifacts or bad SLI performance scaling. An approach for removing the inter frame dependency is to use the NvAPI to manage a separate feedback buffer for each GPU. The TXAA11 sample application that is included with the TXAA library uses the technique to remove the inter frame dependency, improving SLI scaling.
