I'm starting the preliminary work on evaluating the pros and cons of various models of higher end sticks to replace my set of hard working but not really up to the task, Thrustmaster 16000s. I've been eyeing the various VKB Gunfighters, NXT EVOs and Virpil Alphas on the market but keep getting contradictory information regarding a key element: How big are these sticks ? So instead of asking for stick dimension I measured the width of my hand at the base of the fingers, from index to pinky and length from wrist bend to tip of ring finger and come up with 3 inches 1/4 wide by 6 inches 1/2 long. ( I have small hands ). So, Virpil and VKB owners, if you feel so inclined, could you grab a measuring tape to compare with my hand size and tell me how comfortable your sticks are for you ? Thank you in advance! ( I am quite unlikely to find a B&M store with VKBs and Virpils as demonstrators, much less be allowed to touch them )
