I use TV as my second display for watching movies and playing SC, and lately, the sound started to just stop being transmitted to it, randomly, with no direct input from my side. I cannot find a trace of what is happening that this issue happens and in most cases it is enough to just sleep a night to sound be back, but then it disappears again at some point, for random reason. Nvidia High Definition Audio device becomes hidden in device manager and is showing code 45 (meaning that it is stopped). My TV is 40'' Hyundai H-LED40ET3000 LED. PC is a laptop Alienware 17R4 with Windows 10 as OS. Connection is made via usual 10 meters long HDMI cable. The procedure I do to make it work is simple. 1. Open laptop 2. Login 3. Turn on TV 4. Wait for connection to work. Usually image and sound become active at the same time, but as I said, at some point the sound simply stops being transmitted and delivered to TV. Any help is greatly appreciated.
