Hello, So honestly I have not been playing star citizen yet for 2 reasons: 1) I dont want to overhype myself and potentially get sick of the game before it even releases 2) I dont want to get used to a control scheme (mouse and keyboard) I dont plan on playing with, so I have been waiting for that star citizen HOTAS they announced a while ago... then the company got bought out and now it looks like that isnt happening... =( But then I came across something that peaked my interest, its a peripheral device that offers complete control, pitch, yaw, roll as well as VTOL thrust up and down, all at controllable levels instead of full 100%"im doing this thing" like with a keyboard, it would even give me the ability to use my other hand for proper mouse control for accurate aiming. http://www.3dconnexion.eu/products/spacemouse.html <what im talking about... So, why make this thread? Im hoping to gain some insight from someone that may have used or is currently using a spacemouse and any feedback they can give regarding it. and also probably most important question... is it currently supported (or have a workaround) for star citizen my honest impressions from what I have seen is that it would give a natural feel for the ship and easily translated as opposed to keyboard and mouse where you have to hope that you are pressing the right buttons... "I NEED COUNTERMEASURES... WHY AM I JUMPING OUT OF THE SHIP!?!? " (inaccurate example but you get the point) and the ever accurate "ok i need to hold this down to move the way i need to go but i need one of the fingers currently being used to press a button to do something REALLY important..." so, thoughts? advice? help? thanks in advance
