Ok I've seen many this past week since it was free fly of players curious about switching over to SSD. I finally decided to make the switch and did some load time tests both using a HDD and then using the SSD for comparison. So hopefully this will help the newer players and yes the SSD makes a world of difference. My current system is as follows: Ryzen 2600 MSI B450 Tomahawk MB 16gb G.Skill Trident RGB Ram - 3000Mhz EVGA GTX 1070 GPU 1TB WD Blue HDD 1x 250GB WD Blue SSD 1x 500GB WD Blue SSD 1x Asus Blu-Ray / DVD RW drive I currently have my OS installed on the 250GB SSD and only apps that relates to the OS is stored there. I just installed the 500gb SSD today and did my tests as the game was currently installed on the HDD. It took 4 minutes and 10 seconds after launching in order to reach the main menu. Then an additional 1 minute and 52 seconds to be in game able to get out of bed and begin play. After transferring the files over to the SSD, reinstalled the launcher I now tested with the 500gb SSD. It took 33 seconds to reach the main menu. Then an additional 34 seconds to be in game, at the bed ready to start play. Not bad at all! :slightly_smiling_face:) Also the game play is much smoother using the SSD. When I was on the HDD, any sudden movements there would be stuttering in the game play. I know some is server related to a degree but not all. Since I've switch over to SSD, I no longer have that stutter with sudden movements of the mouse. Instead it's all more fluid like any other PC game. So for those that haven't made the switch, with SSD prices being on sale I'd highly suggest making the switch. :slightly_smiling_face: :slightly_smiling_face:
