Hi all, I've been trying to get into the PU more often lately but I am finding that I have a lot of difficultly aiming/steering smoothly in ships when I do. A lot of things have changed since I last played Star Citizen regularly, so I am not 100% sure what the root issue might be. I have tried poking around spectrum a little bit for answers to this, but it seems like many of the other threads on this issue are specific to KBM setups. The problem that I've been experiencing is that steering in any axis seems really sensitive and I am having a lot of trouble lining up my shots in combat. I've tried adjusting joystick sensitivity for flight in the controls menu, but it doesn't feel like it's making any difference, even when set to the lowest possible setting. At the suggestion of some other players, I've also tried deleting my USER folder as well, which did help to resolve a 'drifting' issue I was having but controls still seem very sensitive. I used to play most often during 2.6 and first noticed this issue ever since the 3.0 patch. I know the flight model has undergone a lot of changes since then but other members of my org don't seem to be bothered by this issue so I am wondering if there is some extra configuration that I am just not aware of that might help? I have also been playing Elite Dangerous in the meantime, so it may be that I am having difficultly re-adjusting to the different handling. However, I don't remember Star Citizen's controls being this difficult to get used to, even when I was brand new to the game (and to flight sims in general). The final change is that I have recently swapped my roll and yaw axes and I have heard you get more precision if you leave them at SC default. If it helps, I am using the following peripherals in my HOTAS setup: - Thrustmaster T.16000m - Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle - Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals Thanks in advance for any advice! o7
