Hey all, Hoping for some recommendations, as I am a bit hardware challenged (and fiscally challenged as well). I have enough money to throw my money at ONE item (I wish I could afford both) but since I cant right now, I am wanting the best recommendation for bang for my buck. I might be able to swing about $400 towards a purchase. Here is my current spec: Intel Core i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz Memory 32 GB DirectX Version DirectX 12 Graphic card name NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 Graphic card manufacturer ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Graphic card chip type GeForce GTX 970 Graphic card memory 4 GB My processor options are: i7-7700k (4 cores up to 4.5ghz) $360 on amazon i7-8700k (6 cores up to 4.7ghz) $376 on amazon OR EVGA/ASUS/MSI GTX 1060 6GB $279 on Amazon MSI GTX 1070 8GB $399 on Amazon Thoughts? Pre 3.3, I was getting 17-20 fps, occasionally just under 30fps. PTU 3.3, I have seen everything from 30fps to 50fps in game. While I know that OCS is just making an appearance, and server load depends a lot, where do you think I will see better bang for my buck in a purchase? I keep going back and forth in my mind.
