Current system z68 with i7 2600k running at 4.6 GHz 24 GB ram GTX 770 Samsung 850 SSD for OS Sabrent Rocket M.2 on PCIE expansion (2TB) for gaming I plan on building a new system whenever the Covid fracas is over (I have the cash in the bank but not willing to spend it currently). I will probably get a Ryzen 3900X z570 and RTX 2070 Super. I mainly use the computer for Photoshop, lightroom and Premier, with gaming in the evenings. I could probably convince myself to get the GTX 2070 super now if it would actually make SC playable. I know that the 30xx series is coming, but I have a feeling that the $500 spent now would get me a marginally better GPU when the 30xx series are out, and it will be a while before the $500 spent would actually get me significantly better performance. I would rather spend the cash now and have significantly increased gaming experience for the next 10 months than play the waiting game for the 30xx. And who knows, maybe the 30xx will be PCIE 4.0 :slightly_smiling_face:) So, has anyone taken this kind of leap from 770 to 2070 super on an old system and seen good to great results? Thanks
