I thought I'd set it back up and although I love it in SC and MSFS I wanted to use it in ATS/ETS also but figured I couldn't use my steering wheel. I was also tired of using the eye tracker a long time ago when I put it away and had been using only the head tracking. I have had it dialed in with eye tracking, but it was just not perfectly stable like T-IR5 had been for me. I set it up in ATS and it worked (mounted low) but I soon realized the eye tracking had to go, and it worked great but was a little jumpy here and there if I had to reach over and hit a key on the keyboard or whatever. I was about to just remove it and thought I'd try it on top of my monitor which is a 4k 32" with the top at or just above eye level. I tried to calibrate it with the Tobii software but could not gaze at the dots to make them explode so I was about to quit when I realized that ATS was still open. I brought it up and I was in the cab of a truck, and the head tracking was working smoother than it had ever worked before. I took a short drive, and then a long drive. I went into SC and turned the tracking on in the settings, and it was far better than ever before with the Tobii sensor on top of the monitor. I have not tried MSFS with this set up yet but know it will be perfect for me. I also noticed that I could use my keyboard, controls, scratch my face, move my hair, and everything else without having the view on the screen jump to one side or the other. I love the idea of eye tracking and have used it, but I am much happier with perfectly smooth head tracking. YMMV. I had always mistakenly thought that since I could not calibrate it atop the monitor that it was a lost cause, but that is just for the eye tracking, the head tracking is perfect with that placement.
