Hey Everyone, I've been toying with the idea of building myself a physical cockpit for Star Citizen. I'm talking Aluminum, Steel and Leather !! The whole shabang !! During my planning process, I realized that I would be using the new GameGlass product that some guy's are working on. www.GameGlass.gg (check them out) They've been featured by numerous streamers... BoredGamer, Noobifier, etc. So like everyone else, I broke out my tablet in preparation of release of GameGlass really soon !! BUT.... this new interface had me dreaming of an actual transparent MFD for my new cockpit design. So... I got to work on a crude prototype. Essentially this system involves rear projection of GameGlass onto a piece of glass which is fitted with a transparent projection film, then a transparent touchscreen film, connected to the PC via USB. Please take a look below at my short video of the "concept" working in prototype 1. This was my "proof of concept" design, to see how it would actually look. Please remember this is my proof of concept video; lots will be improved while I tinker away. I'm just waiting for delivery of my clear touchscreen film... then I'll post another video of this actually working in game. Cheers, Starwhore (Kelstr)
