Hi all, I've got a very nice monitor as it is, an Alienware AW3821DW. Everynow and then I run into games that really don't like the resolution. Star Citizen has not been one of them. That being said, my 10yo is now my turret gunner, and he's been using my old gaming laptop. I was thinking about setting him up properly and getting myself a new monitor and letting him use my current Alienware. What I'm debating with myself about is if I should go the standard tv-style 4K OLED route, or still with an ultrawide. I've heard some people say that in SC, they aren't a fan on ultrawides because of the lack of vertical visibility compared to horizontal. What's everyones opinions on this? Have any of you used both an ultrawide and a very large 4k monitor? Thanks in advance!
