Quick plug for those that aren't aware. After many years of development, VKB released their STECS throttle awhile back and had promised future swappable throttles, the firsts of which is here. VKB has opened pre-orders for their Space Throttle in North America. This is a throttle that is geared towards 6dof space sims as it has a strafe up/down and left/right axis in addition to the throttle axis itself. I can't speak for this throttle as I clearly don't have it in hand, but I ordered a Mini Plus that I plan to use for SC, and I'll keep my Max for my DSC flying. I'm hoping this allows me to up strafing entirely on my throttle, and use my pedals solely for rolling as opposed to having to use the stick. Check it out if you're in the market for a HOTAS!
