Just a FYI. Seems customer service is going down the drain everywhere. I had so much RMA hassle lately and also for a long time. My EVGA customer service experiences have been exceptionally positive in past cases though. Not this one. If a watercooling can handle 235W with low-noise ease and then suddenly with the same settings it freaks out about 140W, that's really pissing me off if they spend days with not realizing something is wrong with the cooling system, and telling me things like maybe the CPU fan suddenly blows onto the card. They are SOOOO sensitive. :picardpalm: And then back-and-forth e-mail, wasting a lot of time, because when I called via phone, no one picked up. So now just when 3.3.5 is incoming and OCS is active, I'm having 15 FPS where I should be having 30. That's below my tolerability threshold. If that's an air bubble in the waterblock, it must be a wicked one, with claws and everything, if the pump cannot get rid of it at full speed, and if even shaking and hitting the card doesn't help. Hell, I even re-applied the thermal paste on request (using a really expensive one because I had no other, thanks to Enermax packaging a dried-up with THEIR CPU watercooling), even though I explained the problem profile to them which indicates this is not a paste failure, and even though I bought the card as a complete package and not as a conversion kit. (But I guess such works on the product don't void the warranty. At least some relief there.) Now because they have such difficulty understanding their own products, I had to run the watercooling way beyond what I think is the safety specification - max. 60°C for the pump and such. I mean, if you work in tech support for graphics cards, you need a pretty focused expertise, and if the customer understands more about it than tech support, that's sad. (But I also remember a time when I made a better cooling system diagnosis for my car than my mechanic did.)
