Hi , so long story short looking at purchasing desktop with those specs in the next couple weeks and wondering how SC is going to run and if its worth getting 2080TI instead or if its not a reasonable hardware investment and better to get this setup and wait for next gen cards to come out . AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1920X 12 core 24 Threads up to 4.00GHz CPU with High Performance Liquid Cooler - X399 Chipset - 32GB (4x 8GB) RGB DDR4 Memory up to 3200MHz - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Video Card - Primary Storage: 500GB NVMe SSD - Secondary Storage: 2TB 7200RPM HDD - Killer E2500 Gigabit LAN + Intel WiFi 802.11ac - Bluetooth V4.2 - ALC1220 120dB SNR 7.1 HD Audio with SoundBlaster 7720° - RGB Lighting - Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Or Alternative build which is about 300$ more expensive but worth it ? ntel Core i7 8700K 6 Core 12 Threads up to 4.7 GHz CPU with Corsair High Performance Liquid Cooler - MSI Z390 Chipset - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (4x 8GB) DDR4 RGB Memory up to 3000MHz - MSI GeForce RTX 2080 8GB Video Card - Primary Storage: Samsung 500GB NVMe SSD - Secondary Storage: 2TB 7200RPM - Intel Gigabit LAN - Intel WiFi 802.11ac - Bluetooth v5.0 - Realtek ALC1220P-VB2 7.1 HD Audio - RGB Lighting - Windows 10 Home 64-bit - Assembled & Tested - 2 Year Return to Base Warranty Also looking at screens so far narrowed it down to : ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q Acer Predator XB271HU Acer Predator X34P Curved 34" Ultra-Wide Think i would prefer ultra-wide but my only concern that it would lock me into higher resolution by default and might affect performance by 25% or around that . So would appreciate any suggestions and advice .
