Why am I, the user, forced to dig through YEARS of community posts, Google results, and random third party sites and tool's and hope I don't get malware, just to figure out how to activate a setting that should be blatantly obvious? Why do I have to jump through ten different hoops just to force NVIDIA to recognize this game as a game? Because right now, it clearly doesn't it treats it like generic software. Meanwhile, other tools are detecting it as CryEngine, which is hilarious considering this is supposed to be “Star Engine”… unless that was just a branding name change. If it's not being detected, that's a conflict. If it's a conflict, that's an issue. If it's an issue, that's a bug. And if it's a bug… well, I'm left wondering if it ever gets fixed. I guess I'm supposed to ASK the community how to fix something and just hope I don't get dragged into some troll's “solution” or a sketchy link that gives me a computer virus. So here I am, politely asking the community to guide me through the 100-step ritual required to convince NVIDIA to detect this game properly. Thanks. Love, Gizmo.
