Sometimes it's easy and all u need is open bottom cover and it will be there (some laptops got additional one). But in my case the only way to get one is remove preinstalled wi-fi module from PCI-E port. To get access to it need to almost fully disassemble laptop. Deatached two power cables and removed module from port, install PCI-E adapter instead. And somehow layout USB cable inside laptop to outside (there is a little blackhole in hull near ram modules). Of course that's would be more easiest and better solution (cuz it's easy to get access to it, and it's twice faster), I mean use m.2 port and this adapter instead. But in my case it's already in use by system disk. I couldn't find a way to move PCI-E nvme to SATA, cuz they got incompatible interface. :slightly_smiling_face: But it's technically possible too, if u got sff-8654 port and simline sas X4 sff-8654 cable. I don't got this options and can't use SATA bays aboard, so... that's the way it is.
