Hey guys, I'll get a new CPU for christmas and I'm not sure about my choice. My favourite CPU is the Intel i7-8700 at the moment (6 cores, 12 threads @ 3.2 GHz / 4.6 GHz Turbo, 12 MB Cache) but I read that the AMD Ryzen (7 for ex.: 8 cores, 16 threads @ 3.6 GHz / 4.0 Turbo, 20 MB Cache) series are better concerning multithreading. I would be glad if somebody using a Intel from the 8000er series or AMD Ryzen series could provide some information (probably CPU/core usage while playing SC). The answer doesn't have something to do with star citizen too. Thanks in advance and kind regards edit: ofc I'm aware of the fact that this won't change anything on the fps break-downs
