I know it's alpha and I know 16gb should be more than enough RAM to run SC yet I was still running out of memory. I turned off auto page file in Windows 10 and set the min and max to the same size as my RAM on my SSD and my CTD's completely stopped. I went from one every ten minutes or so to being able to play multiple hours without one. It also seems like my frames are more steady and consistent. So if think you have more than enough memory but you're still CTD'ing you might want to play around with it. GTX 1060 i7 6700 16GB RAM
