I'm currently designing and working on a new controller to use with SC. This controller will have 64 separate controls on it. Any tech heads on here that can help me? I'm currently working out the design however lighting is a main issue i'm facing regarding buttons. All buttons come with LED's and i'm looking to light them up using 2 switches 1 for each panel. Anyone have experience trying anything like that and how they dealt with power demands?. I was thinking of getting a battery pack and building an area in the back to just stick batteries in to power them but not sure how effective they would be. As the main brain for the controller I'm using a leo bodnar BBI-64 Button Box Interface which is usb. Was hoping I could use it to also power them however i don't think the current would be strong enough and am unsure whether or not I could even do it without frying the thing. Any advice would be appreciated. Included my first design image of the controller. It contains a tablet for any extra buttons and/or power allocation settings. Main tablet located centrally for internet and general use. A rotary dial using an encoder for operation of mining laser power and other similar tasks. This setup would also have a usb hub built into the back along with venting and a few small fans for circulation. Nothing is final yet regarding colours and placements. Think this is doable?
