I got this used Samsung 128gb drive for a great price - FREE! The first thing I did was to use Samsung Magician to, check it's condition ( which is good ), and to wipe it. I'm giving the ssd to a friend of mine who's been trying to play SC 3.0 which he really enjoys, but he's getting a lot of lag. He knows that Star Citizen is still being optimized, but I figure that using a mechanical hd is just one of the reasons for lag. His computer specs are as follows: 1. ASUS P8H67-M PRO/CSM 1155 motherboard 2. Xeon E3 1230 V2 cpu - base frequency 3.30 GHz with max turbo of 3.7 GHz ( 4 core - 8 threads ) It's basically like the i7 3770 cpu. 4. Galaxy GTX 670 2gb graphics card So I'm giving him the 128gb ssd to load only Star Citizen on ( I figure that'll do for now ) and I'm helping him bump his ram to 16gb. I suspect his GTX 670 with only 2gb is an issue, but that'll have to wait. I'm hoping this will help him a little with his lag.
