This past weekend was a very special one for our relationship with our community. A little over a year ago (4th March 2016), CIG sent out an invitation to some of the community to meet up with staff from the LA, Austin, Frankfurt and Wilmslow; hosting a Bar Citizen in each location. These meetups were such a success that RSVPs flooded in, and the community called out for more. The term Bar Citizen was fully adopted and the community took the reins. The past year has seen the establishment of the Bar Citizen network, including various chat channels and the barcitizen.sc website with its great interactive map, as well as over 200 Bar Citizen events! Now we have come full circle with community organised and run events in LA, Austin, Frankfurt and Wilmslow (among others) all in one weekend. It was our pleasure to have members of our teams attend these events and deepen our relationship with you all. This could never happen without such a dedicated and passionate community. I am humbled to be part of this. Cameron
