So I figured as we are nearing in on the Friday Harbor Bar Citizen that I had better get a threat up and started. The Cask & Schooner is around a 2 minute walk from the Ferry Landing in Friday Harbor which means nobody needs to drive on to the boat...which also means that the cost of coming to Friday Harbor will be a single 10 ride ticket that everyone can share... IF.... of course... everyone coordinates their trip up to Anacortes and catches the same ferry over. I suggest the 2:40pm over to Friday Harbor which arrives at 3:45 and going back to Anacortes on the 7:45 which arrives in Anacortes at 9:05. However, another alternative is getting a hotel room in Friday Harbor and staying until Sunday.... you know... making an actual mini-vacation out of it. Its very pretty here and well worth the time. If you do stay until Sunday, be aware that the 25th is a completely new Ferry Schedule that currently is available on the Washington State Ferries website.
