I am not the organizer of this but as the lead international Bar Citizen guy I help local citizens get their Bar Citizens started. Scores of new groups are starting up around the world when one or two passionate local space nerds take up the cause of bringing their neighbors together to drink beer and talk spaceships. Frankfurt Germany, the home of Foundry 42 DE amazingly does NOT yet have a local organizer despite the huge community of citizens (and beer drinkers) there. If you or someone you know might want to take point on organizing your local Bar Citizen you will not only get regular visits from the great Brian Chambers himself and other devs from the Frankfurt studio, you may be helping to organize the Bar Citizens around Gamescon and Citizencon. It mostly takes being able to identify good local venues for 20-50 people meeting and then hyping it up. I can help with identifying venues and with the HYPE!
