July Bar Citizen LAN party will be in Plano, TX. Setup time starts around 5:30 pm for those bringing rigs. As of this writing that is (3) people including myself. Cafe is on the second floor, so plan for multiple trips to the car. They also have gaming PC's to rent. As of this writing (3) people have stated they will be renting. Make sure to put copies of your avatars and keybind xml files on a flash drive to bring and copy on the PC's you rent. The staff will assist getting those copied to the rigs if you need. If you're on the fence about renting a PC, don't wait till the last minute. Let them know at least 7 days before the LAN party. They need to prepare, ie download star citizen, to these systems. Staff also expects when you're done to delete those files from the gaming rig. They will not be charging extra for renting a system, just the hourly fee of $7/hr. Plan is to start the gaming clock at 6:30 PM CT and run till 11:30 PM. Doors shut at midnight, so those bringing rigs will need to be ready to go before 0000. If anyone decides to come and just hang out, you are welcome. If you bring a laptop or other device and want to connect to their network, $7/hr fee still applies. They do have snacks and soda to buy. If you have a special requirement for health reasons, let them know in advance. They are allowing me to bring a cooler since I consume drinks sweetened with stevia. Otherwise there is no outside food/drinks. There are some fast food spots in their general location. also no alcohol in the space. Lets have a LAN Party!!
