Northeast Ohio Bar Citizens invite you to join us for dinner, drinks and conversation! The community is quite possibly the strongest aspect of the project and who doesn't need an echo chamber to convince ourselves we aren't insane. The meetup is for any fan of the game, be it die-hard new fans or jaded old blood. It will be held at Lock 15 in Akron and attendees can expect a good meal, booze if you want it, and the company of others who have overpaid for jpgs. Northeast Ohio meets on a seasonal basis. Our anniversary event is always held at Mike's Place in Kent in mid December. Other gatherings tend to occur in March, July, and October. Usually coinciding with a major Star Citizen patch to be discussed. This exact timing is subject to change based on the patch schedule, but four to five events throughout the year has served us best over the past 12 years. This event will take place on October 17, 2026 at Lock 15 (21 W North St., Akron) at 4:00 PM. There is no entrance fee or commitment to purchase food or drink, though eating with us is encouranged, so we recommend coming hungry. For additional information, contact Nytus or Draugur through either Discord (https://discord.gg/XhqxTXmgAx) or Spectrum. Attendees should not find it difficult to locate the group. The venue has a single dining room with an open floor plan and most attendees tend to wear Star Citizen shirts. Nytus, in particular, is easy to identify. He will be wearing a white baseball cap and a black shirt with ARGO orange raglan sleeves with his org's logo on the back (Avery Heavy Industries) and the Bar Citizen logo on the left arm.
