While there is an active Bar Citizen group in Toronto for several years, Ottowa is a bit far to travel. I know a few nerds up there that might be able to attend a Bar Citizen (you'd be surprised at the local celebrities) but we need one local nerd to take point organizing Bar Citizens there.
