Example of Back Story Lore Here's an example of Back Story Lore: we created our own Ronin Files lore based on in-game missions. , We created Our own Ronin Files Lore based on in game missions.: Ronin Nova Corp: Origin & Ethos Founded: 2923 Headquarters: Mobile Command Ship “Kusanagi” Allegiance: Independent Primary Activities: Freelance Ops, High-Risk Contracts, Tactical Recovery, Escort, Black Zone Navigation Background Born out of betrayal and black ink budgets, Ronin Nova Corp was forged in the chaos after the fall of the Odin Initiative, a covert UEE task force that was erased from official records—along with its soldiers. Among the few who survived was the operator known as CalicoChrome, a decorated combat pilot who saw through the layers of propaganda and corruption inside UEE intelligence. When Odin burned, Calico didn’t retreat—he gathered ghosts. The First Five: Founders of Ronin Nova Corp CalicoChrome – “The Ghost in the Burn” A tactician and fearless flyer, Calico led the first exfil out of Odin space under heavy fire. His ship was on fire, and his orders had been overridden by corrupt command, but he kept his squad alive and vanished into fringe space. He created Ronin Nova not just as an outfit, but as an ideology—a unit bound by choice, not command. TheVintageRebel – “The Watcher” A sniper turned recon pilot, Vintage was a silent operator from Vega who specialized in long-range overwatch and deep-space scans. After UEE command left a civilian colony undefended, he walked away from the Navy with a vow: “I don’t serve ghosts. I protect the living.” Now he runs point on all Nova reconnaissance and signals intelligence, watching from the shadows and striking with purpose. Tenth – “Luis 'Lusifur' Maliche” -“Old Blood, New War” A former privateer-turned-militia leader during the Freelancer Discovery Wars, Tenth brought heart and heritage to the corp. He taught the crew about the Ronin of old and serves as Nova’s cultural compass. If Calico is the sword, Tenth is the soul and shield. Tactical, deliberate, and often underestimated, he’s the one you want when everything falls apart. Unknown A beast in close-quarters ship boarding and EVA extractions, Ami was a salvager before the war—and a bruiser after it. Half genius, half chaos, all courage. He joined Nova after pulling Calico out of a wrecked dropship in the dead zone of Yela. He laughs in vacuum and charges into fire. Nova’s hammer. Whiskey99Zulu – “The Voice on the Wire” The comms specialist and smooth-talking negotiator. Whiskey once ran long-haul cargo routes through Vanduul-patrolled space, out-talking pirates and military patrols alike. No one knows if Whiskey’s ever fired a shot—but no one questions why people don’t shoot first when he’s on comms. He handles the profit. He handles the peace. And he knows when to call for war.
